the Archibald Kasota tudor of Washburn Park: a Tangletown legacy example recently sorted by Improvement Co. Amplifying her stately details throughout while paying tribute to the architect's original intent. Her galley kitchen was pondered by owners for decades and reimagined for her next stewards: new white oak shaker cabinetry under marble tops while preserving as much of the original kitchen without inhibited functionality. Upper deco bath millwork was restored and enameled to ensure her union grout lines live forever, this bolsters her bath lineup with period correct main floor water closet and a modern attic primary bath.
Archibald is immense in her arch count: sunken living room with plaster niches, dining room with built-in hutch and arched opening into kitchen providing terrific flow and light transfer. Walkabout executed an immense westerly outdoor space with kitchen, smoker, bluestone dining and living terraces surrounded by native gardens. A tidy maintenance protocol was followed by her prior two stewards, see home highlights: updated boiler, carrier AC, flat roof over master suite, gutter system into drain tile, masonry restoration of limestone entry, exterior redone in dark oakgrun over sage trim. This survivor is in Bristol condition like many doors of Tangletown.
